Not only will you be helping a fellow human being at their most critical moment – but also everyone who loves them. Christmas time is crucial with emergency rooms full of patients during the holiday season.

So roll up your sleeves and give blood at the last Davies Park Market before Christmas. This Saturday December 22, the Blood Service mobile unit will be located on the corner of Montague road & Jane street from 7am-2pm.

Imagine if it was you or a loved one was in an accident – or rushed to the hospital for an emergency…only to find that there was not enough blood to help them?

This Saturday December 22, the Blood Service mobile unit at the Davies Park Market. From 8.00am to 2.00pm it will be on the corner of Montague road & Jane Street – simply:

1) Bring ID

2) Drink 3 large glasses of water in the 3 hours before you donate

3) DON’T eat food in the 3 hours before you wish to donate

If you cannot donate on the day simply contact the Australian Red Cross Blood Service to schedule an alternate time and place. Call 13 14 95 or visit
